After three years at Bonneville AC 96.5 KOIT San Francisco, the husband and wife team of Nick Steele and Kristen Flowers are off to a new, currently unknown destination.

Steele and Flowers started at KOIT in January 2017 after previously working together at Country “101.9 The Wolf” KNTY Sacramento and CHR “100.7 Mix-FM” WMGI Terre Haute. Steele previously worked at KLUC Las Vegas, KLJT Tyler TX, and WCLI Dayton OH, while Flowers worked in News/Talk at KXNT Las Vegas and KTRH Houston.

I think they will be coming to KKCW Portland. If I am correct, it will be the second time in a row that I have correctly identified the new occupant of the K103 morning show, having guessed that Bruce Murdock, who had been in Seattle for 30 years, would come back to his home town to replace the retiring Craig Walker 15 years ago.

Whether it was the station or the morning team itself is anyone's guess.

They stated it was a personal decision. In the end, the rent was too damn high

What rent? The house or apartment rent to live in SF and/or the Bay Area? If so it also implies they weren't paid very well.
