KOJK

Well, let me start a new one of these, since the previous one is getting a little too thready. And I'm sure this subject won't be ending anytime soon anyway! So what's the scuttlebutt on when they're gonna flip the switch in Blanchard? I don't wanna be listening to CDs when it happens! How much longer til the FCC approves the call change? If it's usually 30 days after application, is that business or calendar days?

Can't answer your other questions, but I can tell you that, under normal procedure, the KOJK calls are the Tylers' right now and all they have to do is notify the FCC's call letter desk when they start using them. I know the FCC won't let them hold the calls forever, but they can hold them for at least 90 days, maybe longer. If you're curious, they filed the call letter request for KOJK on 11/15/05.
