KOKO/Fresno Flips to Old School & Throwbacks Jammin' 94.3

https://news.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/headline_id=n36221

A format flip has been announced for KOKO-FM

Big Broadcasting's Oldies KOKO-FM/Fresno flips to Rhythmic-oriented "Jammin' 94.3 FM." The move came after 10 straight hours of Bob Marley's classic "Jammin'." The station's Old School and Throwbacks format features a blend of classic and contemporary R&B from the 70s to the 2000s with artists such as Usher, Keith Sweat and Beyonce. The station is being programmed by L.A. programmer Mike Marino, who launched the Old School and Throwbacks format at KHHT/Los Angeles, KJHM/Denver and KMRJ/Palm Springs.

Big Broadcasting owner and legendary air personality Art Laboe's syndicated radio program "The Art Laboe Connection" will continue to air Monday through Friday from 7 to midnight and on Sundays from 6 to midnight.

Well this is really too bad, it was early Monday morning I heard Mariah Carey, Dreamlover followed by Aerosmith, Crazy thinking KOKO is the perfect Jack/Pirate radio station for the Fresno market.

Back to the basics for Art and company? So, how is this going to be different from what's on KZLA?

Yea really, and also like KFBT 103.7 and MEGA 97.9, multiple stations playing the same old crap.
