They are doing Exceedingly well.
They are tied at a 7 share overall with KLYY
With the latest PPM book.

In the meantime
KCXX with its alternative format is a laughable 1 share overall.
I always thought All Pro Broadcasting would do better if they switched KATY FM From Temecula to San Bernardino, and put KCXX on in Temecula.

KATY probably would have better ratings in the IE versus Temecula.
 
Once again, James, what we don't know is how any of these are doing in the three key demographics.

At the risk of ChannelFlipper once again trying to "put me in my place" ... the 6+ numbers don't tell us how any station does with the listening group it is programmed to reach. And that is what the advertising agencies care about.

It's likely that a 7 share in 6+ is indicative of good performance in the demos, but a 1 share in 6+ is not enough on its own to make any kind of definitive statement such as you are making.

As David says: If the 6+ numbers actually meant anything, Nielsen wouldn't give them away.
