KOLA FM

I had a chance to listen to a bit of KOLA today. To be completely honest, I am having a hard time understanding how this current direction is going to work for them. In the past few minutes they have spun some good tracks, but they also threw in "Rock Your Body" by Justin Timberlake. I understand the need to shift the format forward slightly, but I don't see a classic hits listener wanting to listen to this song (or songs like it) on a station that is playing 80's tracks. I'm not old (only 26), but this variety seems like a disaster to me.

I agree with the earlier comment about Audacy having rather lackluster classic hits programming. iHeart, for all of the hate they get, has done a better job on many of their assets. KOSF in San Francisco is a good example, and "The Jet" in Seattle also being pretty impressive.
