This morning here in larkspur between 9:00AM and 11:00AM I heard KOLZ (KOLT) out of Cheyenne and it came in almost 100% clear. I don't know if it's a e-skip or my radio is really good. But it was pretty amazing because of KGFT 100.7 in the springs.

Yeah that is wierd.. KGFT would have over ridden KOLT easily! But then agian for once I could for once pick up 103.1 KAVD.. I never could pick that up as clear as I did this morning.

Hi all,
I'm guessing that KGFT may have been off the air temporarily, or possibly running at reduced power, allowing KOLZ the extra mileage. I know some pepole here in the metro area that have received KGWN channel 5 on their TV's when KRMA's XMTR has been down. (KOLZ FM is on the same tower as KGWN TV) Personally, I wish they would haul KGFT 100.7 back to Pueblo, their real city of license, but I'm fortunate enough to be far enough north that KOLZ is my dominant signal on that frequency.
