KOME 95.3 Meridian sells to Chisholm Trail Communications

"NORTH TEXAS RADIO GROUP, L.P. is selling currently silent KOME-F/MERIDIAN, TX to CHISHOLM TRAIL COMMUNICATIONS LLC for $130,000 ($15,000 down, $115,000 in a five year promissory note paid in equal installments)."


Seems North Texas made some money off the deal, as they recently bought the station from LKCM RADIO GROUP, L.P. for just under $39000. Slightly interested in what format Chisholm has planned for it. They've got a construction permit to increase power, as well.

And it's on!
With a new country and classic rock mix. Was listening to it yesterday on my way through the area. It's playing everything from Eric Church's "Talladega" to Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark". This station kicks some major ass!
