KOME , SC CARRIER ?

Here in Santa Cruz , CA , I have discovered what appears to me a nighttime-only AM carrier of , um , " traditional " I suppose , AC/standards programming from elsewhere .
( The station has given IDs during announcements giving different calls than the station's  ! RATHER a dead giveaway ;D , I would think ::)...)
It is KOME , IIRC .

...Yes . :'( I found out later on I'd written " KOME " when I should've written " KOMY " .
Gee whiz , lucky for that " IIRC " - huh ????????? 8)

...I guess that it was a commercial I heard on KOMY , which said " mention you heard it on K___ " - another station , which I can't remember the name of now - that gave me the impression that it was a carrier station .
It seems odd , that a commercial dropping the name of a Station A should run on Station B . Again , I can't remmebr , as I write this now , the name of the other " tell them you heard it on ____ and get __% off " named was , but one was named .
