KOMO 97.7

How is their signal in Seattle area? North of Seattle? South of Seattle, and how far may you hear their station from there? How many minutes from the city can their station be heard?
I understand they are also on (1000 AM)
Thank you for your time

Full Class "C" - Great signal from South of Olympia north towards Bellingham

KIRO sometimes can be heard in Yakima (about 120 miles SE of Seattle across the Cascades). Otherwise, full Puget Sound, some Southern BC (save some CKLR interference) and some Washington Coast coverage.

KOMO is 24/7 in Yakima (120 miles), plus also heard from Portland, OR up to Everett, WA (before CBUF kills it).

In most of Bellingham, KIRO-FM can BARELY be heard. You need to be on East Cornwall/Sunset to hear anything listenable on 97.3. In the rougher areas (Downtown, Fairhaven), CKLR makes regular appearances and occasionally dominates 97.3

KOMO-FM is pretty much gone by the time you get into Marysville and it's CBUF all the way further north. There are south-facing Mount Vernon hills where a simple flip of the antennae can bring in KOMO. But not very well.....

KIRO 97.3 puts out a huge "almost" local-like signal in the Fraser Valley area of B.C. It wasn't all that uncommon to walk into a shop around here a few years ago and here their predecessor KBSG going in the background.
