KOMO stream

Has anyone tried to watch KOMO's newscasts online? I never thought to watch local news online until this week, when I stumbled across KING's live stream while looking at something else. I know KOMO has had a live stream of their newscast for years, so decided to investigate that the other night, and I'm not sure what's up with it. It appears they have some supplementary content on their stream, but what I find very odd is the way the stream transitions. Since 1000 dropped the audio simulcast some months back, I'll probably frequently be tuning in in the last 15 minutes or so of their 10 P.M. program, and staying on through the news at 11. The thing that's odd is that when that program ends, I get an endless string of adds, and I have to refresh the page in order to get the next program. What's up with this?

the spots play at random times like right in the middle of the story and then you have to restart the app/ stream to get it to work again at all. they switched something up here first of the year and it's not working correctly for sure.

I also figured out from reading this board what the other content they're running is, apparently it's what they locally produce for KUNS, the two versions of ARC Seattle and I'm sure other press conferences and things that they say will be live on the website. It is extremely annoying/odd how the adds work though, as I would think a live stream would be a live stream, and the feeds would join up at the appropriate time.
