KOMY/1340 Drops Air America For Oldies

KOMY seems to have freshened things up since last week, they've been very entertaining (with very little repetition) today. And I just heard an old Drake/Chenault "Ladies and Gentlemen... the beat goes on!" sounder -- first time I've heard them play it since they signed on (it almost sounds like they stole it from one of Dave Morey's 10@10's on KFOG).

I also heard a few days ago "Number One Then!! (POW!!)... and Number One Now!!" although one of those could not have been number one at least on the national cahrts.

They've been using that one a LOT all week -- too often, in fact. I've been hearing it 3 or 4 times an hour, which is kinda silly since none of the songs they play are, y'know, "Number One *now*"...
