The announcement UNOFFICIAL :'We are a proud member of the East Texas Radio Group, not to be confused with radio amateurs East Texas Broadcasting Inc.We are apologizing for the shamefiul antics of KYKX. We felt they might be professional enough to step up to the plate and serve the community not disgrace it. We can not blame the entire staff just the morning show. Please indulge us as we keep Dru and company on so we may take the tax credit for the year. Rest assured when we bring in the new year,we will fumigate the studio and bring respect back to a once fine radio station. Seasons greetings .

Good one, Eduardo.

Speaking of "Let It Snow...", didn't Charlie O (Randy Ricci) spend a condiserable amount of time behind bars back in the '90s stemming from the use and possession of cocaine?

Let's hope the major announcement is LISTENER APPRECIATION PARTY AT CHARLIE O'S PLACE!

MIster X Dru must be a partner at Charlie'O's backroom.Apparently his snow has drifted and accumulated thus covering perceptions of reality.

From what I've read here, Dru will be facing reality toot sweet, so to speak.

As for Charlie, one has to wonder if Access 1 is aware of his past.

Nuzguy..he's speaking in the third person

Wow "Rita" did more damage than we thought:)

Re: Nuzguy..he's speaking out of his big A** again

Ed, I am soooo pleased that my identity haunts you so. Wrong again. Mister X is quite amused. As for Dru, I am not familiar with his airwork...only what I've read here, but I can't imagine Dru being any worse than you on the air. The demo you sent me a couple of years ago was a C- at best and if that was your best shot, you should be. Your resume boasted "30 years of experience", but your work most certainly didn't reflect it. The only thing you do well is post nonsense on this board under your various account names. (sometimes even carrying on conversations with yourself, which is very spooky) I feel sorry for you.

I am not the least haunted. Apparently you are the one haunted seeing as how you love to come post in a state of denial. You must be getting intoxicated on your own fumes again. Oh BTW commenting on someones A** is quite amusing coming from you and your size 58.

Sorry genius. Again another of your TDA assumptions. I have been happily working for the last 6 years ..IN THE MEDIA.. So I don't have time nor would I lower myself to your sublevel standards you seem to enjoy frolicking in.
.

Feel sorry for me,why thank you! Considering it is a chore to read through your bile at times. Various accounts? No need for that. I have been using this one for three years now.Why change? I like it you don't..darn.

Every 4 weeks or when the temperature changes, perhaps the seasons themselves as well, you crawl out of your latrene, and try to cause some crap with me. It failed before and it will always continue to fail. That is your mantra. You have not hurt my career at all infact it has prospered quite well, while yours continues to flounder with that wonderful uplifiting personality of yours. You can not stand it when someone other than yourself is a success. Then you go into a blind stupour thinking I am someone else, and it is I who is amused.
Now be sure and do your tradmark hateful remarks on this and other forums, and use a variation of my nic name. It only serves to let people know who you really are,and send more money making business my way. You will lose another job by spring again. Happy Thanksgiving.

I think you cleared that up, Ed. (ha)

What exactly did Sybil, I mean, Ed, clear up? Ed would soil his britches if he knew my true identity. NOT DRU. In past posts, Ed has been very complimentary of my work and has sung high praise for the station where I have been employed for over a decade. While I appreciate his kind words, that doesn't change the fact that most of the time he is full of hot air. I'm positive I'm not the only reader who is completely fed up with this guy and his thousands of posts here. He just can't get over not making it in the bizz. So, he blames everyone else.

Re: Nuzguy..he's speaking out of his big A** again. But that's dru for ya.

I don't know you or Ed.
If you want to argue all the time, that's up to you and him.

Dru is hysterical at times. I noticed the pat on the back he gave himself,it must be part of his "bonding".It's funny that he thinks he knows Ed. If he knew who Ed was he would be wearing depends 24-7 if he isn't already now.

Re: Nuzguy..he's speaking out of his big A** again. But that's dru for ya.

THis is all funny....everyone here assumes this "Clark Kent" face..to hell with it all. My guess is that most of the people here have 3 or 4 screen names..sometimes they bitch at themselves..that is kinda creepy. If anyone here knew who each other were they would all (BLEEP) themselves..but you say you know one another..well why not use your real "air name"..what do you have to loose, maybe some of you are working in the same office and dont know it..or maybe you do and instead of going home and beating your wife you get your boys off here..who knows but to say the least its still funny to watch. Someday you will all implode-Dave

you're right. Happy Holidays

Ya know, you're so right. I am very disappointed in myself. It's just that I don't like being accused of being someone I am not. I have nothing to hide. May you...no, may we all find peace this holiday season.

Respectfully,

Ray Whitworth

Oh, by the way, check out my voice work demo at
http://raywhitworth.voice123.com

I'm pretty good, huh? Lots of experience and great pipes. I could teach all of you a thing or two. Please, by all means, let me know what you think.

MISTERX YOU ARE A PATHETIC PIECE OF WORK. YOU ARE NOT RAY. JERK.

DUDE: Ray has far more class than you any damn day of the week. Apparently your small dank apartment is getting to you. Try cleaning it up and get the dirty dishes out from under your bed and launder your clothes more frequently, and you wouldn't be so bitter. You live a lonely life and its a small wonder. Another holiday, another time for you to be alone and be bitter at life. Pathetic. Here's a bulletin for you. Ray doesn't use voice123.com.He discontinued his use of it 2 years ago. He has a better talent service..I SAID TALENT, something you are envious of.You should seek a cure for that phobia of yours about him.Now go and try to have a Happy Thanksgiving. I am sure it will be a struggle for an embittered person as yourself.

If Waller had Charlie O. fill out an application (which I assume they did, because I filled one out when I interviewed a few years ago), the felony question was asked. If Charlie O. answered truthfully on this as well on any new hire paperwork during the transfer to Access 1, this should be a non-issue.

Dudes, the guy screwed up and he paid the price. I'm glad that Charlie got that drug monkey off his back and has gotten back to work. I'd hope you could be happy for him too, rather dredging it up here.

People are human. We all screw up from time to time. That is just a fact of life. In my opinion, it is *how* we deal with the mess that makes a difference.

Charlie O. has owned responsibility for his actions. He is to be commended, not denegrated. In a day and age where finger pointing and denial of responsiblity seem to be the norm, Charlie O. showed great courage and character.

Charlie O. got his act back together and whether anyone realizes it or not, that is *good* for radio. I worked with Charlie O. back in the early 90's and can say that he is an impeccable talent and one of the most creative individuals I have had the pleasure of knowing.

There seems to be a lot of folks posting on this message board with derogatory things to say about the East Texas (in particular, Tyler/Longview) radio market and some of the people who work it. I would encourage those folks to try focusing more on the positive aspects rather than the negative. Having worked the East Texas market for a few years, I know there is a whole lot more good than bad.
