Kool 101 - A Blessing Or A Curse?

I've been sampling Kool 101 for a great portion of the week. And I've heard quite a few "oh wow"-caliber songs. However, the interesting thing with Kool is, unlike the garden variety oldies stations that play the "tried and true" songs to death, Kool appears to be playing these marginal hits to death on their station! Songs like The Esquires' "Get On Up," Rose Royce's "I Want To Get Next To You" and Guess Who's "She's Come Undone" are in heavy rotation. I guess you have to find some songs to play more than once within a certain period, and it's wise of them to choose such borderline songs for extended play. And while they may play the occasional 80's song, they're a mere fraction of their playlist.

Keep it Kool, WKNL! ;)
