Kool 101 Oops

Well, I guess we've got proofed that WKNL is tracked during the day. Heard the weather jingle trigger the closing weather logo and then the next song, whose start is heard over the remainder of the weather bed.

All this not once, but twice this hour.

Upon further listening, it appears that they've just started to pipe in weather updates from some genius named "John Knight" twice an hour on Kool, and I guess the first time they dipped into the well, things went wrong. I know that as recent as last week, I can recall the midday guy doing the weather updates live. This is why I always thought that Kool was live at least during the day.

The outsourced weather must have been a one time thing, because from last Tuesday into today, I heard the midday guy Dave Wright continue to do the weather updates, just as he's been.

At any rate, I just wanted to write today to inform that Kool 101 just played Rod Stewart's "You Wear It Well" twice within the last half-hour.

The above criteria has been happening again, and all day long during every single weatehr break during Dave's shift.
