KOOL FM promos

Cox cable and KTVK are running them upside down while CBS5 is running them the correct way (?).
Can't speak for KSAZ or KPNX.
Don't watch em on a regular basis.

Am I missing something here?
Bueller?

Are you sure it's not YOUR TV that's showing things upside down, Bueller?

Oh those clever See B.S.ers...first it was the severed Camel Nads commercial, then the upside down KOOL commercial. Does this mean we'll see Rosie pitching Free (of all listeners) FM?

I'm asking sincerely.
To answer your question...
No, it's not raining here.
But to run a campaign, upside down, with no reference to "turning the Phoenix market 'upside down' "to explain the discrepancy shows a weak production idea that should turn off listeners and viewers who happen to catch the spot on TV.
I may've answered my own question.

My original post shows there are some real selohssa here.
This must be MediaLine.

Open the arcadia window and get some air.

The original post still stands.

The lady sure is purty, though! I think that's Allie Torrez, host of the Saturday Night Dance Show.

Playing something upside down is on the same level of creativity as the "snippin' of the juevos" KMLE spot.

Both will seem groundbreaking and ubercreative to the masses.

I know someone who actually called KOOL's business line to ask if they knew the spot was running upside down. I'm pretty sure that's the response they were looking for. I can't remember the last time a radio station's television commercial inspired an average person to do something as drastic as calling the station in question.

I don't know anyone who's called to complain about KMLE's spot, but I'm sure more than a few people have done so. And I'm pretty sure that's the response they were looking for as well.

Are the spots groundbreaking and ubercreative? Who cares? We're talking about them, aren't we?

p.s. no, that is not Allie Torrez.
