It is so good to hear Jack this afternoon. Sounds like he had a great time in Italy! It'll be good to get Lee Bortel back on in the night so I can have someone to listen to. I threw my television out. This pick a fill-in jock from somewhere around the US is....well.....and was it for the reason Lee was doing Jack's show? Kool listener lauren, oldiesfan???? your take?

;) It sure is!

Yeah, just picking people for fill-ins was getting annoying. But that's what you get when you fire people. Now there's nobody really left to fill-in for Lee, when he's got to fill in for Jack. Makes me wonder if that Scott Letourneau guy was just there for the couple of days or something? He hasn't been back on since his evenings of more-than-rare board-oping errors (dead air, etc.), few funny jokes that kind of tested KOOL's "family-friendly" status, and forgetting to bleep a listener live on the air (if "hell" is supposed to be bleeped). He was pretty good, but wonder if these things were it for him? Or if we'll hear him again someday, filling-in?

Last night was "Giff"... said he was visiting from up north in Colorado, which leads me to believe this was the guy filling in last night; morning show host of KOOL 105 (thanks to Google): http://www.kool105.com/pages/695251.php

Perhaps all is back to normal, now... until next time! Maybe now's the time to send in my tapes ;D
