KOOL PROVING TO BE NO FLUKE IN #1 SPOT...KYOT ALREADY MAKING SIGNIFICANT GAINS?

KOOL did lose some of it's lead, but it's still #1...Any questions from doubters?

KYOT popped a full point and gained Cume....New-Listener curiosity factor?....Or is it the Real Deal??

These numbers are for the month of May, so it was what KYOT was doing before going all-out R&B oldies. We won't know for a month what the current sound is doing...and it'll be six months before you can gauge whether it's got legs.

More foreground than background. More recognizable music. More listeners with real hair and teeth. In spite of frequent musical train wrecks, they're now playing the PPM game correctly.

Well, it even got me to put my booty bass, UK Garage, and house music aside and listen, so they really must be doing something right....

Look at KOOLs' history - they always did well when they leaned "Motown heavy". KYOT will sink or swim based on what they can take from KOOL- a 7 share station - not KAJM - a sub 2 share one!

KOOL being #1 would sure be a fluke - they've never been higher than #2 25-54 since PPM started and they are currently #5.

Also, their 25-54 share is down for a fourth month in a row.

Is it your turn or mine to explain, again, that Arbitron gives the 6+ or 12+ data away because it has no real world value?
