KOOL Still Disappointing

That's been a staple of the KOOL/KSLX playlist for as long as Nurse Jeff and I can remember. At least on KSLX you don't hear the Temptations!

For goodtime oldies and some clunkers Gumpdusky brass likes, tune to Lumberyard 14~Forty....Your All Day 14 In A Row Goldmine.

Oh, my goodness...In reviewing the latest message from Dr. Akbar, I immediately heard (in my head) his real voice reading his post!

I know who Akbar is! He's on the air every weekday in Phoenix, and is a favorite of mine!

Try this:

Read Akbar's message from this thread, and try and imagine it in the voice of various radio hosts. You will know it's him when you get to him. I don't know what about this post did it, but you WILL experience the same thing.

Akbar unmasked! :D

All hail (bowing with zero sarcasm or even irony).

Wasn't the lime (faded) green '76 AMC Gremlin in the parking lot a tip off?

Or maybe seeing the good Doktor and his trusty assistant Nurze Jeffy in those fish net stockings at the lunchtime watering hole?

Personally, I wish he was Frank Kalil........ (over the burning sands.......etc.) ::)

I don't know. But 100.7 isn't an "oldies" station. Its classic rock.

We don't know either. But at least on KSLX they DON'T play Barry White!
