KOST 103.5 / 92.7 JILL FM

Now, is me or is JILL FM starting to sound like KOST 103.5 in away? For a while there JILL was a Adults Hits station then went into a AC music then now is a AC/Classics types of music. What are your thoughts? I do admit I am liking what I am hearing except for all Classic music weekends on JILL starting Friday Afternoon at 3pm. And are they gonna bring more radio announcers on the air?

Announcers - probably never. Sale - maybe.

Jill doesnt seem to know exactly what they want to be. They will switch between music formats at the drop of an automated digit. However, that is not necessarliy bad. My wife loves the station.

Well,
Jill FM does have morning man Captain Bill Gardiner and he sounds good at Jill FM in the morning and if I'm not mistaking I heard him say a few months ago they do have plans to add on air personality to Jill FM plus I read a article online saying that they have plans to add on air staff after the new studios in Lake Forest is completely built.

I believe he's been fired.

They have zero plans for on-air staff.....From Visotcky to Hoyt, the programming totally misses opportunities, so there is no point in it.....may as well as just the unispiring juke box that it is.....Amaturo wants to sell but is reportedly asking $70 million+, which he will never get.

JILL-FM is a mess. Not just only the program, but their signal.

Of course the reception is very largely dependent on where you are listening relative to any of their three transmitter sites. For me, in Mission Viejo, the signal is just fine.

(BTW I am about ten minutes from their Lake Forest office off of Bake Parkway just north of Trabuco Road.)

If they can move KJLL-FM from the hills south of Newport Beach into KFSH or KWIZ tower then it will provide a better coverage in the LA/OC area instead of present location. Also, they shouldn't move the signal from Riverside to Adelanto. They should kept it for Inland Empire area instead of Adelanto.

if not for those pesky FCC spacing requirements...a great idea!
sorry, but this is as good as the 92.7 signals get.
