KOST HD2 Music Changed Again

Well, for maybe the 3rd time in as many weeks KOST
has altered the music on its HD2.
Now as of today its more CHR with some
80s dance, but similar to 103.1
seems its a loop running
For the most part imaging still
thinks they are running
KOST Clasics, with similar AC music
to main channel.
Also, has any1 noticed even items on
KOST main channel more rock
or uptempo? I wouldn't think
Love Shack by the B52s belongs
on an AC.

KOST's HD2 keeps changing because the corporate programming people keep making them change it. There's an air of micro-management at Clear Channel with people across the country in smaller markets telling the big boys what to do. Have to wonder how many people actually have HD radios anyway? Not enough for them to worry about it too much.

KOST's main channel is just updating like it should. Without the protection that KBIG used to provide they need to update the music. Now KBIG is actually a competitor so they have to split the difference. KOST always played up tempo songs and the B52's have been around a while now with "Love Shack" being one of their major hits, so it's not really that out of place. KOST is moving forward so they don't get left behind.
