KOSY-106.5 has won the race in Salt Lake City to be first with all-Christmas.
Although not in the area, looking at the playlists of the station posted on Yes.com indicate the station made the flip around 2 P.M. MST today (November 2nd).
At this writing (5:30 P.M. EST; 3:30 P.M. MST), according to Yes.com, KSFI has yet to take the plunge. I point it out because I thought last year, KSFI was first to do it on November 1st, with KOSY following suit very quickly. I don't think KSFI can afford to wait long to make the flip, for the longer they don't (assuming that they eventually do go all-Christmas), the better the chance KOSY will capture those who want to hear Christmas music on the radio in Salt Lake.
KOSY is A Clear Channel Property, which is of course the company that is most agressive as regards programming all-Christmas formats. KOSY's website has also been revised with a Christmas look.
