Looks like Townsquare gave up on 790 KOSY rather than repairing the facility. The license was cancelled on March 31.
 
Word on Arkansas Blvd. is they had a potential buyer for it and the translator. Apparently, that went south, so it was surrendered. Sad. It's one thing to kill off a graveyarder, or a high end AM with no upside, but a regional Class B signal like KOSY? Come on now.
 
Seems something would work for KOSY even if repairs were fairly costly but I suppose the guaranteed return is just there or too much trouble to mess with. Sometimes it's time over money.
