Kovas files again

A new filing today with the FCC for kovas. The way I understand it is they now plan on keeping the WONX transmitter site in Evanston/skokie and will just raise power once the suburban stations at 1580 and 1600 move out. They finally grew a brain about keeping the same transmitter site and not moving the towers out west. However they still seem to believe the FCC will let they move the station from harvard to weston wi., even though it was previously denied because WMCW is the only station licensed to Harvard. Kovas must have good lawyers and a congressman.

The fcc daily digest today seems to indicate that they've withdrawn the app to upgrade WONX. I don't know if that means anything for the stations they are trying to move, but it seems they've given up. Could this mean WONX is going to be sold soon? Who will be the buyer?. Perhaps Polnet? They've got to be close to the limit for stations, maybe they will dump 1500 to buy WONX. Firesale anyone? I love WONX its got a great signal on the north side.
