So last week Sean McLaughlin Lead Anchor at KPHO was on the border of Nogales, AZ trying to help viewers get a better view of illegal immigration. Well according to several reports they stole material from a veteran and called it their own. Horrible, I thought these people were supposed to learn the truth in reporting the news, not slant it for Pro Illegal Immigration. I'm done watching the news on this channel. Too hypocritical for me. I can't believe college graduates are getting away with this BLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible, just extremely horrible. In college people are often punished, but why doesn't this station get in trouble.
 
This is beginning to make me really angry. Just because it's on the web doesn't make it PUBLIC material!! I hope KPHO gets in trouble for this.

KPHO has really gone down hill lately, particularly since they got rid of Diana Williams (a classy anchor) and Christina Wofford (another class act). Who are their miscellaneous sports guys? Peter Busch makes their weekend newscasts look like Yuma and I might be insulting Yuma!!
 
Yeah the rotating musical chairs of sports anchors is just a bit too much for me. The last couple weekends I watched Channel 5, not this weekend they had a sports anchor I had never seen before. Wondered if either Scott Smith or Eric Sperling had been let go.

What a shame Diana Sullivan was canned, along with Omadelle Nelson and Christina Wofford. I can't believe I'm saying this, I guess I'm being a hypocrite and eating my words, but damn I feel like this station has gone downhill since getting rid of Kent Dana. When I look back retrospectively, I think he brought some class to the station, now all down hill. Some great reporters and anchors, shouldn't have let them go, IMHO. I guess the new GM is really cleaning house, but that was stated on this site that he was gonna do some house cleaning.
 
Of course, my post above should have said Diana "Sullivan". Diana Williams is an NYC anchor. Sorry about the mixup (a middle-aged moment)!

I miss Omadelle Nelson, too! She was one of their best field reporters -- in terms of reporting everyday news stories. It's too bad that they got rid of all of the good people. Now, it seems that we're just left with some mediocre, small market, washed-up "talent". I rarely watch KPHO -- there's simply nothing compelling about their newscasts.
