I heard an annoucement this a.m. on KPHX that on January 1 you will hear only music on KPHX. Nova M will be only on KNUV.

Actually I read on line that K PEEE HX was going to go christian on 01/01. Very gratifying because that cult is SO under-represented in the local radio market. And only gawd can pick up that meek 1480 signal anyway.... But 1190 is saying that on 01/01 you'll be hearing Frank Sinatra-style tunes. Well, I won't be hearing them since I live more than ten blocks from the mighty 1480 match-stick.
 
I heard that the Christian group may have had trouble coming up with as much money as was needed for the lease. So if that's true, perhaps Molina will choose just to play MOYL off a sat until the next guy with $350k a year comes along.

no, the true comedy is on 550. it has to be comedy. no one takes it seriously.
