Is that why we haven't heard from Raul on the Nearly Bald One's show? That Tent City idea sounds like another Dean Martin roast. hmmmm...wonder if the Sheriff and his dep-ah-tees will be rounding up Don Rickles, Phyllis Diller and Rich Little?
They're more like the undead. It's a format that died in this market years ago, yet keeps rising from the grave because of programming necromancy, only to be slain by the silver endowed weapons of better formats, bigger sticks and, oh yeah, all of their shows--aside from Dr. Dean Edell, are about as captivating as, well, a dead guy. Luckily though, they do have 4 very solid advertisers--you hear the same commercials over and over... even their brokered shows are mostly gone, aside from a real-estate show (can't imagine that's a winner in this economic climate), a show about renewable eneragy sources... which is actually the most entertaining show they have and then the guy that runs the board six other days a week is given a show on Sundays (which I'm sure he pays for).KOHS said:Sporting a 12+ cume of 25,200, based on April PPM numbers from Arbytron. ;D
I guess progressive talk isn't quite dead after all.![]()
