With so many local Fresno stations pulling below 2.0 12+, wouldn't it be great to have an upstart plant the PIG here so all the wannabe cowboys could hear what real country music sounds like? It is well known that the Americana-triple A hybrid programming that originates out of Mapleton Communications' KPIG/Monterey's main studios is also used by other sister stations in San Luis Obispo, San Francisco and Chico, Calif.
But as the station prepares to celebrate its 20-year anniversary in 2008, its unique programming will become available to stations across the country thanks to a new syndication deal Mapleton Communications has recently inked with Dial Global Digital 24/7 Formats.
"We are thrilled at the opportunity to partner with Dial Global to expand the terrestrial reach of KPIG radio across the U.S. so listeners will be able to Tune In, Turn On, and Pig Out,” commented Mapleton Communications president and CEO Adam Nathanson to R&R.
