KPNW 1120 shhhhhhhh

Tonight is the second evening in a row that I've noticed 1120 KPNW running just an open carrier, no audio. Not that I'm pining for their usual programming, but I thought DXers might see an opportunity to dig out the stations KPNW usually obliterates with their 50kw.

I assume that the faint Vietnamese talk I'm hearing in this vacuum of KPNW silence is 150w KZSJ San Marin CA.

I am sure what you were hearing was KZSJ. Which is indeed Vietnamese (and some Korean) language radio, owned by Bustos. They also have an FM translator, though I would need a translator to understand programming from the translator. If you know what I mean!
