KPPL in Denver vs. KPPL in Chico, CA

I can't believe they had two KPPL call letters in the same frequencies, both at 107.5. One KPPL was from Denver, which had those call letters in the 80's, before switching to KRXY in the mid-80's. Now the former KPPL is KQKS-FM. The other KPPL was used on the same frequency in Chico, CA, also at 107.5. Now the old KPPL (Chico) frequency is now KQPT-FM, which had the same call letters from a Sacramento station. Also did the Chico KPPL use the same KPPL logo from Denver? Did the same owners own both of those frequencies? Tell us what you figure.
