I think they should become a Jack-FM or Bob-FM type formatted station. With their monster signal, they would be playing music into areas that otherwise woudn't have so much of a variety of music choices.
As far as their signal goes, their signal covers a very large area. Even areas in Western Washington get their signal. They have prime coverage off their stick on Mission Ridge, that reaches even over into Idaho and the Puget Sound area, which all depends on what setup your home or car stereo has. When I was living over in Bremerton, KPQ's signal would come in as a local station in alot of areas, even in the worst weather conditions or even on a little AM-FM clock radio. However, over in East Bremerton, KSWW from the Aberdeen area would end up at times taking over the frequency, until you got up into the Silverdale and the North Kitsap area. Not really DX conditions either. Their transmitter itself has a very good signal even over the Cascades. Over on this side of the state, it's just dependent on which part of western Washington you are in. Places that are away from the Cascades can get the signal alot better than if you're right up against those mountains. Kinda like the rain shadow effect you get over in Sequim, and over there even on a car stereo that has a good antenna, KPQ's signal makes it to there... KPQ, and KXDD in Yakima, and even the KMCQ that is in The Dalles, are really the only 3 stations that are able to make it up and over the Cascades, in alot of areas on this side of the state.
