First of all KPTI, Why doesnt Univision upgrade this station? Make it better? I know they would have to get permission from the FCC but have they even consider doing this? It would be nice if we could get La Que Buena back, it would be good right? La Que Buena 105.3 fm. Because I know they wouldnt have Tejano on Fm so La que buena would be a better choice!

Second question, about this limit of 5 FM in houston. Well like for example LBI has 5 station on fm but not all of them reach houston for example El Norte 96.9 Fm is not in houston its in El Campo. (Oh yeah and the guy who does the reads the call letters dosent say KNTE, he say KNT. I have recorded it and played it again and again but I still cant hear KNTE all I hear is KNT. XO is is Port Author and Bay City, not houston, La raza is also not in houston. So does this make them Houston station regardless of where they are located?

Most stations today are not upgradable.

The FCC considers Houston to be the 8 county Houston MSA (Metro Survey Area) as defined by Arbitron, not just the city of Houston. The limit for large metros is 8 station, no more than 5 of which can be FM.
