KPTK....Movin' up!

The seemingly endless debacles of our current administration have allowed an easy coast up for KPTK, sitting at a respectable 2.7. And getting better each book. There's a ferociously loyal hard core of KPTK listeners in Skagit and Whatcom Counties that seems to get bigger each month. All kinds of homemade LISTEN TO 1090 AM signs can be spotted all over Northwest Washington....

Great work 1090! <P ID="signature">______________

One slight problem though...Bush's days in office are running out. Being that the majority of their content involves making fun of the administration, what content do you have after he's gone?

Same thing could have been said for Rush-bo when Clinton left office. There's always room for whiners and natering nabobs.

Congratulations on what seems to be a well-run operation, but this notion that people are listening because Bush is a moron is silly. Here in Phoenix, we have a bunch of whinig louts saying we need AAR back because "the midterm elections are coming up". Only when libtalkers realize they are entertainers, not ideological converters will they succeed on a widespread platform.

Wow, a prediction of AAR crashing because of financial problems. That must the first time I've heard that.

Today.

Put it on the talk radio board with all the other predictions of AAR bankruptcy.

Same with conservative talkers. But there is a surprising amount of common ground between both sides these days (the now defunct UAE ports deal, the deficit, energy, etc.). That also plays a serious factor in KPTK's success. All 1090 has to do is make sure the board ops are paying attention and it's all smooth sailing from there....
