KPWR FM LA Hottest music

It's you... sounds like hip-hop.

Yep, and since KXOL peeled a lot of Hispanics from Power, they actually sound a bit more Urban and Black focused of late, particularly since The Beat moved in an adult Urban AC direction.

I noticed that they play alot of classic house and some current dance music mixed in with hiphop lyrics. You should listen to them on friday afternoon at 5pm and 6pm. Don't forget the Aquanet Set at 12noon friday's. They play alot of house and deep house too. They even got the voiceover guy saying classic house cut or deep house. Its kinda cool, reminds me of the good old party days. lol

Power doesn't sound Black to me. I don't hear any "Black" presentation, don't hear a Sunday Morning Gospel show, don't even hear a slow Jamz show, and most of all, their "Talk Show" on Sunday Mornings talks about Latinos.

Sorry all, but Power is still a Latino targeted station. Were you prehaps thinking of KDAY?
