KPWT...I got one thing to say...

Whats that supposed to mean? So you are saying it hasnt been already? Elaborate.

Don't look for anything to happen that hasn't already happened. The problem with Power 106.7 is that it hasn't figure out how to appeal to the masses. The Beat, KISS, KONO and KXTN continue to dominate because they have continuesly appealed to the majority of population. 94.1 KTFM finally figured out that tagging itself "Old School And The Best R&B" wasn't such a good idea. KTFM sounds better now but they still need a new morning show with better air personalities.

I have noticed Mix has stepped their game up and is slightly leaning away from the Hip Hop. I think they are sounding great, best they have sounded in years. I think when Power came into the market The Beat stuck with tayloring to their large hispanic audience. And you know what? It seems to have worked. When Power came at first I honestly thought they were going to take a serious huge dent into the Beats ratings. But Cox being the brilliant minded folk that they are of course they didnt do it right. I like Big Boy in the morning but it just isnt for San Antonio. I personally would much rather listen to Big Boy than Xavier but that is just me. Magic and Q sound very similar. KTFM = ZZZZZZZZZ

Big Boy at KPWT, not such a good idea. He's good, but I also think he's not San Antonio good.

Thank god Mix has leaned out of Hip hop. I haven't heard them in a while, but i'll try to tune in to see if this miracle is true.

The Hip Hop battle is about to go full throttle!
This necessarily isn't a good thing! How long have they been competing? And it is supposed to barely get good? If you ask me, KPWT just needs to start all over again. Don't get me wrong, they sound good, but whatever their approach is, it isn't hurting The Beat. You would have thought by now that The Beat would have at least lost it's Arbitron 12+ number 1 crown, but no.
