Was wondering....since Ch.33 is a LPTV station, will it continue to broadcast on analog even after 49 goes all digital, since 33 doesn't have to? It'd be the only game in town, for those that can actually receive the 33 signal.

They could, but they have a construction permit for digital facilities, so they may very well become a digital station in the near future as well.

Are they at full-power at 5.1 or reduced cause picking them up is next to impossible?

Will they be upgrading prior to February?

They are at full-power on channel 5, but low-VHF channels are just so terrible that they're near impossible to receive.

Next year, they relocate to channel 32 at 1000 kW, and will be as easy as any other UHF station.

KPXB's digital Channel 32 will be from the Missouri City antenna farm, so I don't see why they would need to keep the co-located 33 on the air in digital form, although they have a CP to do so.

Perhaps separate programming on 32 and 33?
