KQ106 was about as "legendary" a station as you could get in a small market. Huge signal. I listened to them growing up in Clinton and in in college at Weatherford when I wasn't spinnin the hits at the mighty KCLI and KBXR (chuckle).
It's too bad they gave up all that heritage. I remember them being pretty solid.
