KQEQ 1210 sold to Spice Radio

What was the other 'attempted' purchase by Spice here in the valley recently? Was that the Zawilla/VernWhite mess Spice wanted to buy? Well, at least the RAK sale of KQEQ will probably go through FCC without any problems. Can't find much online by Googling Spice Radio.
 
They now own the KIGS 620 in Hanford. The 1210 will provide a better "footprint" over Fresno than just the 620.

I thought KIGS went to New Media Broadcasting, Inc. last October.

It's the same "group" of boys that own KIGS AM in Hanford Plus a few new players. All of the Zawila stations (KNGS, KZPO, KZPE and KAAX + KYAF) have been sold to a Jesse Portillo out of Bakersfield. However -- Verne White is asking to Delete KAAX and KYAF -- which the FCC Staff wants an ALJ to do. White and his attorney have a game plan of "If I can't have it -- no one else can". They want the two "Non-Commercial" stations (KAAX 106.9 + KYAF 94.7) to be deleted. The FCC Enforcement Group wants that to happen as well. Yet ole Verne keeps claiming he started both stations.
