KQEQ flips

More Franking/Patterson. The business plan for 1680 didn't seem to play out. The line-up has changed to basically the same that's on KRDU... The gospel format is pretty unique for the West Coast. Seems as if this is a format that pretty much target's Peoples, Northwest Church (which has a Southern Gospel service) and the, uh, Holy Roller crowd. I'm sure the demo's will lean to the 60+ crowd.

WHAT is with that nitetime signal of this station? SOMEthing is out of whack :(
I am just a few miles from their nitetime stick, the original Fowler stick I presume, and the fluttering signal is unlistenable. Sounds like DX. I assume the daytime move to the KWRU towers left the nitetime facility unchanged, but it seems the nitetime signal went to pot about the time the daytime power-increase/antenna move occurred. Maybe, it went bad sometime after that move, I don't remember checking it. It may have been OK for awhile. I know that 370 watts used to do fine here in the Sunnyside area at night.
Maybe they just are not at the full 370 watt nite power -? Sounds like it might be something under 10 watts. Just a lot of flutter with co-channel interference.

Three months later, and we are back to Spanish on 1210.
