KQEZ 92.1 ???

So was KQEZ 92.1 ever a station in Anchorage? I found a coffee mug at a yard sale today with their logo. . .Mark & Selina in the Morning, Soft Rock All Day. . .EZ 92.1" on the side of the mug. Couldn't find anything online.

Yep, they signed on the in the mid 90s with that format, at that time the station was owned by Aaron Wallander and Wolf Kurtz under the banner of 'Ubik Broadcasting', which is now TATI with the End, KNIK, etc. They sold the station to New Northwest later on in the 90s, they eventually changed the name to "Soft Rock 92.1 KQEZ", and that lasted until I think 2005 when they flipped to Bob.

Once again AK you come through with an answer. Thanks, man. Now I can drink my coffee knowing the mug once had a real home in Anchorage.
