KQIE 104.7 in Palm Springs

It appears from the maps on Radio-Locator.com that KQIE, Q104-7 reaches Palm Springs decently. I remember a lot of controversy when the city of license moved to Redding but it seems like it can still be heard clearly in Palm Springs. Perhaps the controversy was more of losing the legendary station and format to Top 40?

I'm curious to hear from a local, how does it come in when you're driving around? I haven't visited Palm Springs in a couple of years.

Ummm its a simulcast of KCAQ 104.7 in Oxnard. KCAQ plays commericals while KQIE plays a remix of music during the break. Not really missing that much. Very CHR Rythmic Pop leaning more than KGGI. You can listen on KCAQ website

It's totally blocked by mountains. Palm Springs itself is behind Mt San Jacinto, and much of the Coachella Valley is blocked, too. I can't get it at home in La Quinta, even on the car radio.
