I'm having flashbacks also, to when this station was in Beaumont as KWIC playing rock music. The current incarnation just proves that radio has gone to hell as companies have stolen stations from our market.
 
Wasn't KWIC at 107.7? Seems like it was to me. That's been what 20 years ago now?
 
As I remember KWIC has always been on 107.9. KLJT in Lake Jackson was on 107.7 and moved to 107.5.

KLJT was on 107.3 before the move to 107.5. Not sure if that move was pre-KGOL, though.
 
My sticker collection says "Quick 108". And yes, it did join the hellbound handbasket.
