KQQZ On Day Pattern

I Noticed Tonight (as of 10:14 PM) That KQQZ 1190 is on Day Pattern Blasting into Texas Tonight. Rendering Reception of KFXR impossible.
Either way, its not often I catch stations like this, so I don't mind.

I wonder if KQQZ is running 50 kW yet.

Not many stations left with live operators who are responsible for switching the power/pattern. Almost all stations have automated the process...and these systems do malfunction. The AM stations that I am responsible for are set up so that if the system that switches power loses it's mind, it will set the station to night time power/pattern to avoid interference issues. Not many people left who pay attention to AM transmission systems...as a result, these issues will continue to happen...and on the bright side, produce occasional DX loggings!
