Kramer, media.

I rarely go to www.stlmedia.net, but everytime I do, that guy has something to say about Kramer. I've been trying to figure out why he has such a dislike to Kramer. Not that long ago he was attacking Kramer's wife saying that she's an unfit mother, and all kinds of things. I happen to like Kramer, and I happen to think he's one of the few good guys left. If someone tarnishes your personality and effects your job if you are in the public eye, I'm thinking you could sue them. Does anyone know if that's accurate? Attack him and what he does all day, but to personally attack his family should be grounds for a law suit, and I NEVER say 'sue'. St. Louis is becoming known as fuddy duddy's because we can't stand change. I like change. I as well think KTRS is sounding tight as ever. Remember before when things were just lying there and it didn't breathe or have a personality? I didn't like that. I think they've done a fine job at doing a more modern version of talk. I say "HERE HERE!"

Mike Anderson is a jerk, plain and simple. He hated Kramer the minute that he was announced as one of the new hosts. Now, I have no opinion of Kramer, but if you don't like it, don't listen. I wish I had the free time that Anderson does to listen to radio shows I don't like and look at web sites about the hosts of them.

I don't often feel inclined to defend what I've said, but I'll make my first post on the new board here an exception:radiopoopoo wrote: I rarely go to www.stlmedia.net, but everytime I do, that guy has something to say about Kramer. That's not exactly true. I used quotes from her own MySpace and that which she had written on Keith's MB as examples. None of that which I quoted would show either of them as examples of great parenthood, but I never said either were unfit parents. Please show examples.radiopoopoo wrote: If someone tarnishes your personality and effects your job if you are in the public eye, I'm thinking you could sue them. Does anyone know if that's accurate? The fact that neither Keith nor his wife has, nor has anyone at the station, for any of my criticism of what the station is doing, should speak for itself. The www.stlmedia.net website exists to show the conditions currently existing in media, radio, tv or print, and is focused on the local market.radiopoopoo wrote: I as well think KTRS is sounding tight as ever. The remaining staffers...Kramer, Monty and even their current PD, Al Brady Law...are clearly all under the microscope of the new, combined management of the STL Cardinal's and the old CH Holdings. Why do you think that so much change has occurred in the past few months? Is it because they were doing so well?marko83 wrote: Mike Anderson is a jerk, plain and simple. I compared him to others who auditioned and said that he was the worst of the bunch and, in my 30+ years of experience, he was.Keith went off on me and my critique on his message board and we were off and running. I don't hate the guy because I don't know him; I'm sure that he's a decent man who loves his wife and his son and means well. But it's pretty easy to see and hear, taking the occcasional look at his website and listening for a bit each week, that Keith's a minimal talent, with not much education and not much to recommend his work.It doesn't take much time to see that. And, really, marko83, I probably have less free time than you do. I'm pretty busy, and I work a lot of hours a week. Why am I a jerk? Because I disagree with you? Or is it because I've reached a place in my life where I have the time or inclination to occasionally examine and comment on media issues? Please let me know which of these issues troubles you. I'm pretty sure you won't answer.Al Law has been trying to press his bizarre programming ideas into place on an MLB station for more than two decades and he's never once been successful. He won't be successful here, either.
