What's up everybody? I just wanted to hop on and say hey.

Some of you may remember Tony and I, some may not.

Like 90% of radio people, I am on the beach. Have been for a while. I'd LOVE to come back to Dallas. We did well there and I LOVED living there. That's my fave place I've ever lived. I even met my wife there.

We live in St. Louis now, have a 4 year old boy, and just doing our thing.

Thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone in the D has or knows of any gigs?

What happened with Cindy and Robert? How is Russ sounding? (He hates me for some reason.) How's the Ticket sound? Is the Eagle sounding good?

I guarantee that if the Pugs and Kelly thing happens, they will have a shorter morning stint that David Lee Roth!

Kramer, I thought Bubba (Bubba, The Love Sponge) was helping you out. Call him back and ask him to drop your name in with Howard or Tim Sabian. The merger means there may be new spots and you could get your foot in the door with the new Sirius XM Satellite radio comapny.

I used to listen to you guys back in the day and you were great. There was this bit you guys did once... a guy was stuck in a port-a-potty and could not get out. So he calls the number on the inside and they help him out. When he gets out, he realizes he is on the back of a truck. I'm laughing now just thinking about the bit. That was one of the funniest thing I have ever heard on radio.

Come back to Dallas.
 
Kramer, its good to see you on the Dallas board, Radio in this city right now is pretty much in the gutter. With the depature of Greg Williams at the Ticket, The Hardline has become a mediorce imitation of its former self at best, all they talk about is the uptown scene and leave sports out of the mix.

RMS is still the same 2-bit dog and pony show its always been (Tired bits, mic silence, playing with words sounding like the N-word) and he hates everyone save his "inner circle", so dont take it personal. I have a feeling that KLLI 105.3 will flip formats by the end of the year.

The Eagle went through two format changes(Sunny, El Pollo Mexicano or something or other) before going back to the original format. Still doesnt reach the greatness of the Pre-CC KEGL.

Cumulus classic rock KDBN (93.3 the Bone)/Dallas is seeking a new morning show as Cindy Scull and Robert Miguel have left the station following a year together on the air.

PD/afternoon host Gary Thompson tells R&R that he is accepting inquiries about the morning show at [email protected]. Please send files no larger than 5MB, and no calls.

The post "kraddick"/Rock-Alt era of KEGL (1994-2000) was about the best time for the station in my honest opinion.
 
In my travels didn't I hear you guys up in Detroit at one point on 97.1? Maybe not, it's been a while, I haven't travelled to Detroit in 6 or 7 years.
 
I just had a BRILLIANT idea....Kramer and Channing should hook up and do a show. Oh wait, I am using my real name, I was trying to be sly. ;) Hey, Kramer and I would make a helluva team, IMHO! :)
