Kravitz on WIBC

Heard Kravitz for the first time today. Despite the expected bland, 'new show' sound (which will improve over time) I thought they sounded very credible.

After listening to their discussion on the Colts preparation for this weekend, which was very informative, I switched to XL (wow) 950 and they were talking with the Chargers' radio guy, asking very mundane ('I don't know much about the Chargers, so tell us the basic here so we can fill some time ') questions, then it went back to cheerleading for the colts.

Point: 950 and 1260 come off like average joe's in a bar. EVERYONE that is a colts' fan has an opinion. They repeat everything they've heard on Inside the NFL adn that's about the extent of their 'inside' knowledge.

Kravitz and White not only sound like they know what they're talking about, I don't feel like I need to hear the breakdown of the Colts from the Chargers radio announcer when I can get it from an INSIDER like Kravitz, who is at the complex regularly, knows others in the biz that are going to give him the latest scoops, etc. that these other guys are NEVER going to get hiding in their stations all day, or in the buffet line at the next remote.

How many radios do you have going on at one time? ;) I thought you listened to Dave Wilson (even though you dont like him) on WIBC...wait..you think you are listening to WIBC. Kravitz is on THE FAN.
 
Not to defend Radio Ho because I think he should get as good as he gives but isnt it possible to station flip? I know I do it all the time. Maybe if one station in this city were actually good enough to keep my attention I would have to? Kravitz is a good writer and has lots of connections. I am sure he will probably be a hit. Even if he is not "In The Zone"

You mean you can actually change your radio station while listen to another one? Wow! Technology - simply moving too fast for me.

I've even been 'lead to believe' that the 'big ol' expensive phone company' has this new phone that actually has PUSH BUTTONS on it?? I don't see much of a future in that. What's wrong with the dependable rotary phone?
 
LOL..... Kravitz is on THE FAN, not WIBC........ ;D Maybe Radio Ho forgot about the switch........lol Just giving Radio Ho a hard time. ;) I honestly dont have a problem with anyone on this board. I try to avoid the drama, I just like to throw in some humour from time to time. ;D

Bingo Ten Four.. And no, I dont see myself fighting with anyone here. I am a calm mellow person and try to get along with everyone, even the people that dont always get along with everyone else. I will say it again, I respect everyone's opinion and advice here, we may not always agree, but that doesnt mean we cant respect each others opinions while stating our own.
