Not the best way of doing this, but it's all I could come up with....HD receiver is in car, lol.
You're joking right? Don't you hear all those HD radio spots that are played with the commercials. They may not be put in there by the stations (or might), but it is shure letting people know that there is a such thing as HD radio.mrtexmex2007 said:Why dont the stations advertise the Hd stations that much?
mrtexmex2007 said:Yeah but what I mean is all they say is discover hidden station with no montly fees. I never hear News 740 broadcasting in hd2. Ive heard Estereo Latino sunny 99.1 say they are broadcasting in hd. But I never hear commercials about whats on hd2 or hd3.
Radioman100 said:You're right. Except for a few stations owned by Greater Media, there is very little promotion of what's actually on the HD2 channels. The only reason I can think of for this is paranoia. Nobody wants to risk losing ANY of their cume, even to their own HD2 channels.
Radio as an industry needs to get over it. Start thinking about the future every now and then instead of just living for today. Whether we want to admit it or not, people have choices these days. The more choices we offer our listeners, the better our chances to retain them as users of radio.
