KRBE Houston: Cumulus not just messing up in Atlanta ...

CHR has a thing about its jocks matching its target demos, and it's not only Cumulus. Older personalities being blown out is not that unusual. Look at what happened within the past couple of years to legendary CHR personalities Rick Dees in L.A. and Dale Dorman in Boston. Both still had strong ratings.
The lesson to be learned is people working in CHR shouldn't expect to get a gold watch...unless their name is Kanov.

Didn't Cumulus do the same thing in Dallas when they bought the Wolf? What happened to the Wolf in Dallas???
I remember a few years back when I was budget cut I asked a PD friend of mine who was fired from Cumulus at one time if I could get a good reference from him. He said sure what station are you looking at? I told him it was a Cumulus owned station. He told me I couldn't get a good reference from him If I was looking at a Cumulus station....because when he was fired from Cumulus he told Lou Dickey to go F@#$k himself!!!!!!
Cumulus buyout in any given market........well over 10 million dollars
The amount of revenue lost because of declining ratings..............well over 1 Million Dollars
The amount of MONEY saved for the fiscal year from one fired PD..........45 Thousand Dollars
