CUMULUS Top 40 KRBE/HOUSTON night crawler CARSON tells ALL ACCESS that he has exited after "six amazing years." He says that he has some independent projects in the works, as well as an announcement coming in the upcoming months.

CARSON said goodbye to his listeners in a final tweet posted on his TWITTER account last night at 8:22p, writing, "thank you KRBE."

Anyone know anything else?

Another legendary Cumulus CHR? The only other Cumulus CHR that would even remotely fit that description would be WZYP in Hunstville, Alabama and it has more of an adult lean than KRBE from what I've heard. This has to be KRBE they're talking about.

The "Legendary" call letters are KLIF. So that is what he is more than likely referring to, i93. He will be doing Mornings in Dallas from what I can gather.

I agree, but if you think about it, it does seem like the only "logical" move. If Adam were to move to KRBE, that would be a very lateral move for him from Atlanta. And of course in Roberts interview, he stated that he could only imagine Adam moving up either to mornings or afternoons. I think we will know a lot more this coming week.

Yeah it's sad a company wants to destroy successful station by adding crap programming. Didn't a research report show the lowest on the list of what listeners cared to hear about was celebrity interviews and stale music?...just a thought.

What's wrong with you guys. Billy Bush, I assume will be on for a temporary period of time until they find a new night timer. C'mon, Billy Bush is not that bad-------I think he is just as good, if not better than the On-Air with Ryan Seacrest on the Clear Channel CHR's. But, whatever- KRBE is still a good station and to me, all of the cumulus CHR stations still seem to me that they are playing the same music flow as others. Haha, funny....
