KRBE's "New" Logo

I was expecting Cumulus to eventually give KRBE's logo a change like their "Q94" Beaumont type that they have on a few stations or maybe like "Q100" Atlanta. The current logo has been around since around 1990 when they dropped the "Power" moniker. The green/purple colored part of the logo was added around 1995/1996. KRBE finally adjusted their logo to read 104.1 KRBE but I have a feeling there will be more changes to come

The ".1" is so lame... they should have just left it 104.

Yeah ... what's the logic behind adding the .1?

It made sense in the diary measurement world, but Houston is becoming a PPM market, and it will not matter. No ascription, no confusion.

It seemed to make sense to me to add the .1 because I've heard people refer to KTPY as 104 (I dont see why KPTY doesnt call itself Party 105 with 104.9 being so close and the simulcast on 105.3). I do think the logo needs a changing though, its been around since 1991.
