KRBL is now....

Spanish?

I tuned in over the weekend and have been hearing Spanish music. Seems like they are just playing it off an iPod on shuffle. I haven't even heard a station ID.

...so much for "Praise" radio. Guess they didn't have enough support to keep the station running...oh well. Praise radio hit the airwaves quietly and left quietly.

*Yawn* I know it's a boring topic. But it's been kind of quiet around here so thought i'd bring it up.

I'd argue it never really was relevant, especially when I worked there.

What's interesting to note about KRBL/105.7 however is how early we called its demise.

I remember many of those old threads about Lubbock radio where a few folks were boldly proclaiming how no one here knew anything about radio, much less what would happen here in good ole Lubick.

Sherman has already set the Wayback Machine, so enjoy just how exactly out of touch and clueless we really are about Lubbock radio:

Jack FM Lubbock - Stunting?

KRBL Lubbock sold

KRBL "The Rebel" is now "Praise Radio"
